Catherine is a registered social worker and early childhood educator. Following a period in
her life where Catherine encountered the need for her own healing journey, she found her
passion for social work. In 2016, Catherine completed her Bachelor of Social Work degree
from the University of Manitoba. In addition to her formal education, Catherine has also
completed additional training, notably in; Attachment, Indigenous Safety, Motivational
Interviewing, Trauma Informed Care, Addictions, Child Development and Parenting
Support.

Catherine is an approved provider the First Nations and Inuit Health Branch and private
clients. She has experience working with children, teens, adults and families in a variety of
areas, including:

 Parenting
 Personal development
 Self-esteem
 Suicide intervention and support
 Trauma

Catherine uses a variety of evidence based theories and techniques in her practice. Her
focus is on supporting clients where they are at and walking alongside clients through their
healing journey. Catherine believes that we are the experts of our own lives and have the
power to take control of our lives and be the agent of change in our own recovery.
