Niki Gagnon BScPN, RPN
Niki is a Registered Psychiatric Nurse, having graduated from the Brandon University BScPN program in 1998.
She began her career at St Boniface Hospital, Department of Psychiatry whereby she had the opportunity to work with both youth and adults who were experiencing mental health issues.
When she moved to Northern Manitoba, her role changed when she became a Community Mental Health Clinician. During this time she provided comprehensive mental health services to persons living in The Pas as well as to those living in remote communities. Her clinical experience has included providing care, support and counselling to persons across the life span.
She has become proficient in assessment, case formulation and treatment planning. She is highly skilled in risk assessments, comprehensive mental health assessments, trauma informed therapy and crisis intervention. She is focused on Recovery oriented approaches.
Niki utilizes a variety of evidence based approaches with her clients. These include Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy, recovery oriented practice and trauma informed therapy.

- Stress and change
- Grief and bereavement
- Crisis management
She strives to assist individuals in overcoming their struggles and supports clients in their personal life journeys to ultimately help people reach their identified goals.

She is an approved provider for First Nations and Inuit Health Branch and private fee for service clients.
